“Something of a resurrection…this is what the Domaine de la Madrague underwent, after a long period of neglect, when it was taken over by Mr Zodo, who has now owned it for a number of years.
This charming little vineyard in the Varoise region is well known due to its ideal location on the St Tropez peninsula. By the side of the Gigaro road, its 17 hectares of sun-drenched vines flourish between avenues of the region’s famous hundred-year-old palm trees. The vineyard even extends right to the edge of the beach, which just goes to show that it is truly blessed by Mother Nature…
Its vines feel the same! They provide the grapes for 2 marvellous vintages, which the proprietor has named after his daughters: Claire and Charlotte.
Both vintage have become a "must-have" in the area!
The Cuvée Claire was awarded both the gold and silver medals at the 2008 Paris International Agricultural Show. Regarding the Cuvée Charlotte, it won the bronze medal at the Macôn Exhibition the same year.
