Rolle (80%), Clairette (10%), white Ugni (10%)... These are the ingredients of the Claire Blanc 2008. Winner of the Silver Medal at the Paris Agricultural Show in 2009, this vintage, with its pale yellow robe with green glints, has a seductive nose, giving a blend of exotic fruits with a touch of vanilla; in the mouth, the immediate impression is one of supple fullness, revealing exotic fruit flavours with a spicy note in the finish.
It is obtained from a pre-fermentary and chilling soaking, from a rolles-fermentation on 600 liters half-hogsheads, from a 6-month sur lie aging in half-hogsheads and from a tartaric stabilization to chill.
With its pale golden and green glints, the Charlotte Blanc 2008 vintage has a nose that reveals some fine citrus notes: lemon and grapefruit. In the mouth, it also unveils these flavours from the outset, with a finish that offers delicious touches of exotic fruits.
Composed of a white Ugni (40%), Clairette (40%) and Rolle (10 %), the Charlotte Blanc 2008 firstly undergoes a process involving pre-fermentation cold maceration, pressing in a pneumatic wine-press, traditional alcohol fermentation in a thermo-regulated stainless steel vat, and finally élevage sur lies fines before finally undergoing cold tartaric stabilisation.
